MEET THE FOUNDER

Hello, I'm Ms. Sandra.

An educator, a mindfulness practitioner, and a believer in the quiet power of childhood.

Ms. Sandra, founder of Mindful Movers and Makers

A place to learn about emotions, move, and create

Ms. Sandra created Mindful Movers and Makers to give children and families a welcoming place to learn about emotions, practice strategies for navigating strong feelings, move with music and themed activities, express creativity through crafts, and enjoy stories together.

After years in the classroom and as a nanny, Ms. Sandra saw firsthand how children need spaces where they can move their bodies, name their feelings, and express their creativity without pressure or judgment. She designed Mindful Movers & Makers to be that space — a place where every child is witnessed, every feeling is welcome, and every family finds tools they can carry home.

Why this matters

I believe every child deserves a place where they feel safe to be exactly who they are — to move their bodies freely, to feel big feelings without judgment, to create without worrying about the result, and to connect with the people who love them. That's the space I've created with Mindful Movers & Makers. It's not a classroom. It's a community where children and caregivers learn, grow, and discover together.
